I finally grew aggravated enough with Flickr's user interface and lack of innovation that I've changed my photo hosting to SmugMug. SmugMug allows me to heavily customize the look of the site and the display of my photos. For a technical geek such as myself, it's a lot of fun to play around with the various customization options. They've also got a great, helpful community that is always coming up with new and interesting hacks. The bottom line is that my photos look much better when presented in SmugMug. I've got a number of old posts on the site that link to or use photos on Flickr. I don't have any immediate plans to delete my Flickr photos, but eventually some of those links and images may stop working. I suppose I'll gradually try to update those links to point to SmugMug, but for now they all still point to Flickr.
