Trip to the Wisconsin Dells

This week we took our first-ever real family vacation, 5 days in the Wisconsin Dells. The area is unrecognizable from when I was a small boy. My only memories of the area were taking a boat tour and seeing Storybook Gardens in the 1960s. Now its waterpark central, and a mecca for families with small children. We stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge, and took in many of the attractions including The Tommy Bartlett Show, Circus World Museum, Riverside & Great Northern Railway, the Original Wisconsin Ducks tour, and of course the waterpark at the lodge. A good time was had by all, and I have no doubts we’ll be making the trip many times over the next few years. I’ve uploaded photos from the trip to my Photos section if you’d like to have a look.
