Good Year for the Minnesota Twins

Well, the Twins didn’t show up for the playoffs and were swept in 3 games by the Oakland A’s. The team I watched in the playoffs wasn’t the same team I saw in the second half of the season, when they had the best record in the majors. Even though they tanked in the clutch, the future still looks bright with Santana and young guys like Liriano, Mauer and Morneau. This should be a fun group to watch over the next few years if they can keep the core players together. Unfortunately, the Twins have a long tradition of being cheap and letting their top players go. Hopefully with a new stadium on the horizon it won’t happen this time.
