Picnic and County Fair Pics
Last Saturday we went to my in-laws' family picnic, and on Sunday I took the kids to the county fair. Here are some pictures:
Day at Como Park
I spent a fun day with the kids at Como Park Sunday. They went on a bunch of rides, we saw some animals at the zoo, and I introduced the kids to miniature golf. Here are some photos from our day (may have to click below to activate):
Animoto Brings Photos Alive
Today I discovered a cool new service called Animoto. It takes your photos and makes them into a dynamic video. You can upload photos, or have it pull from online galleries such as Flickr. As for the soundtrack, you can select from one of their many songs or upload one of yours. It's free to create a 30 second video, or you can create extended videos for $3 each. There is also an unlimited option that'll set you back $30 for a year.
I think this is really slick, and it frees you up from having to learn the complexities of hard-to-use desktop applications in this same space. Here's a video from our June 2007 camping trip that I put together in just a couple of minutes:
